Kate was born in Varna, Bulgaria. She was found to have an acting and singing talent at a very young age and went on to win several competitions throughout Bulgaria.
At the age of 13, she moved to England. After attending Roedean School, she went on to study at the Drama Centre London.
During a lengthy stay in Moscow, she was cast as Nina in a production of “The Seagull” and in “The Queen of Spades” at the Vakhtangov Theatre.
Some of her credits include Nora in Strindberg’s “A Doll’s House”, Imogen in “Cymbeline” at London’s Shakespeare’s Globe and Yasmin in David Edgar’s “Pentecost” among others. Two films shot in Los Angeles, DEBRIS Escombros and Death After Pancakes did well in the festival circuit winning various awards. Among them are Best International Short at Manchester International Film Festival and Best Director at HollyShorts Film Festival in LA for DEBRIS.
Her latest projects include the role of Olivia in "DOOM" directed by Tony Giglio and Beatrice in Yuval Adler's "The Operative" opposite Diane Kruger.
She is also producing a theatre musical based on the Shakespearean classic "A Midsummer Nights' Dream" with the Children's Opera in Bulgaria.
Little Magdeline is the story of a single mum who gets reacquainted once again with the father of her daughter. Filming begins soon.
